These small gourds were thrown with Speckled Buff and Calico clay which help produce the speckles that appear through the glazes. A glaze called Sand Dollar was applied to the yellow gourd and measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" wide. A glaze called Cedar Shino was applied to the red gourd and measures approximately 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide. And a glaze called Ivy was applied to the green gourd and measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 3 1/4" wide. All stems were glazed with Textured Amber Brown. This small gourd set really does reflect the traditional fall festivity colors.
