Autumn Gourd Trio

These medium gourds were thrown with Speckled Buff and Moroccan Sand clay which help produce the speckles that appear through the glazes.  A glaze called Sand Dollar was applied to the yellow gourd and measures approximately 5 1/2" tall and 4" wide.  A glaze called Cedar Shino was applied to the red gourd and measures approximately 6 3/4" tall and 5 1/2" wide.  And a glaze called Ivy was applied to the green gourd and measures approximately 6 1/2" tall and 4" wide.  All stems were glazed with Textured Amber Brown.  This medium gourd set really does reflect the traditional fall festivity colors.

NOTE:  All gourds have either stilt marks or glaze sanding marks on the bottoms (these hidden imperfections do not impede the artistic beauty of the items).
