This stoneware set was thrown with black clay and comes with 2 mugs, one slightly larger than the other. The smaller mug holds 13 ounces and the larger mug holds 14 ounces. A glaze called Arctic Blue was applied which creates a patchy transition between blue and brown throughout its coverage when on black clay. The bottom portion of the mugs remain unglazed to feature the raw black clay. Both mugs have a 3-finger grip handle ((2-finger for larger hands).
