This stoneware vase was thrown using Speckled Buff clay and pinched on two sides on the top to add subtle character to the rim. The lower portion was covered in Deep Sienna Speckle glaze and the upper portion was covered in River Birch glaze. A band of Ancient Jasper was applied where they meet which reacts with a unique downward flow of colors. It measures 7 3/4" tall and approximately 4 1/2" width at the belly.
